FAQ
Raw kit vs. fully finished · what’s the difference?
A raw kit is 3D printed to spec, custom scaled to your measurements, with parts bonded and supports removed, ready for you to sand, prime, and paint yourself. A fully finished commission includes all of that plus sanding, a full paint job, and weathering, done by the maker. Sanding can also be added to a raw kit for an additional fee if you’d rather not do it yourself.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide. Shipping is quoted separately from the build price and confirmed once your piece is boxed and weighed, so any figure given upfront is an estimate. Any import/customs processing fee needed to generate the shipping label is paid on my end and folded into your final total, so there’s no separate surprise bill just to create the label. Recipients may still owe destination-country duties or taxes depending on local rules; that varies by country and isn’t something I can promise a number for in advance.
Can you build something outside of Halo?
Yes, if a printable file exists for it. Several non-Halo builds are already done (see the gallery). Send a DM to check on a specific character or franchise.
What if I need it by a specific date?
Mention it as early as possible. Whether a date is achievable depends on the current queue and the specific build, it’s better to know upfront than to assume. No guaranteed express turnaround is offered.
Do the props make sounds or fire?
No. All weapon props are non-functional, silent, no firing mechanisms. Some pieces include moving parts (trigger, bolt, removable magazine) for aesthetic/detail purposes only.
Is the paint job customizable?
Yes, full custom colors and paint schemes are included standard on any finished helmet or armor piece.
How does sizing work for armor and helmets?
Everything is custom scaled to your measurements using a simple measurement guide.
Do you offer free builds for reviews or exposure?
No, every build represents real hours and material cost. Paid commissions only, though honest reviews from actual customers are always welcome.
What if the electronics have an issue after delivery?
All electronics are hand-wired and tested before shipping. As with any handmade electronic build, an issue can occasionally surface after delivery — if that happens, just reach out and I’ll help you troubleshoot it.
Can I use a helmet or prop for airsoft or paintball?
Standard builds are 3D-printed PLA/PLA+ with a vacuum-formed visor and are not rated, tested, or certified for airsoft, paintball, or any impact use — the visor is not impact-rated in any material. If you’ll use a piece for airsoft, wear real eye protection underneath regardless of build material. Ask about the TPU option if durability matters; even then it’s a tougher material, not a certified rating.
Can these helmets be used for motorcycle or road riding?
No. These are cosplay and display helmets. They are not DOT, ECE, or otherwise certified for motorcycle, ATV, or road use, and cannot legally or safely serve as a substitute for a real motorcycle helmet.
Do armor sets come with the silicone undersuit?
No. The silicone undersuit shown in some reference photos isn’t made or sold here — armor sets include a tactical compression base layer, not a silicone suit. A silicone undersuit is a separate specialist item you’d need to source elsewhere.
Do you offer repairs after delivery?
I don’t offer a ship-it-back repair service — international shipping both ways doesn’t make sense for most fixes. If something needs attention down the line, reach out and I’m happy to walk you through how to fix it yourself, including recommended glues and methods.
